The DreamWorks Animation 3D threequel hits theaters June 8, 2012.

The official trailer for Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted has been released.

DreamWorks Animation's 3D threequel is set to hit U.S. theaters on June 8, 2012 and the film features a voice cast that includes Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Jada Pinkett Smith, David Schwimmer and Frances McDormand.

Madagascar 3 centers on Alex (Stiller), Marty (Rock), Melman (Schwimmer) and Gloria (Smith) as they attempt to go home to New York from Europe without attracting the attention of the police (led by McDormand). They're of course joined by several of their friends, including King Julien (Sacha Baron Cohen), Maurice (Cedric the Entertainer) and the Penguins.

"These pillows are filled with baby birds!," exclaims one of the penguins in a Monte Carlo hotel room. And has the gang taking part in a circus act. The big question remains: Will they return to New York City?

The comedy was directed by Eric Darnell and Conrad Vernon and written by Noah Baumbach.
