Ho ho... oh

Fans will have to wait until 2018's Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 to find out what Thanos' endgame is when it comes to the Infinity Stones, but if that seems too far away, the erstwhile House of Ideas has a special holiday gift for you: Santa Thanos. No, really.

The video is part of Marvel's regular Marvel Super Heroes: What The—?! web series, which features stop-motion animated versions of the company's familiar characters in increasingly ridiculous situations — such as, for example, Thanos disguising himself as Kris Kringle in order to sneak into the Inhumans' city. (For those needing some explanation of the punch line to the whole thing, this is what the Terrigen Mist is. You're welcome.)

While it's unlikely to give anyone real insight into what's coming in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the chance to see Captain America as a paranoid blowhard just might be the best holiday gift anyone receives this year. Happy holidays, world!
