Masi Oka, best known as the breakout star of television show Heroes, is in negotiations to join the cast of Meg, the creature feature being made by Warner Bros. and Chinese company Gravity Pictures.

Oka will play a member of the crew of the undersea vessel stranded at the bottom of the Marianas trench.
