It's time to tap into your inner Ripley.

FoxNext Games — the video game, virtual reality and theme park division of 20th Century Fox — has announced a new shooter game that will be set in the Alien universe.

The game will be the first Alien game title since 2014's Alien: Isolation for the Xbox One. The new game will be available for PC and console gameplay, but specific details are still under wraps.

Bay area-based Cold Iron Studios, which was just acquired by FoxNext on Wednesday, will develop the game. Cold Iron has worked on such other large-scale projects as 2009's Borderlands, 2013's BioShock Infinite and the 2010 MMORPG Star Trek Online.

A release date for the upcoming Alien game has not been revealed. FoxNext's first title, the mobile game MARVEL Strike Force, is slated to launch this year.
