'Ocean's 8' Trailer: Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett and More Upend the Met Gala

The first official trailer for the female-focused Ocean's Eleven spinoff, Ocean's 8, has arrived.

In the preview for the Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow film, viewers meet Sandra Bullock's Debbie Ocean, who starts off the film pleading her case to a parole board, saying that if she's released, she just wants "the simple life."

But that's not what she has in mind, as she soon puts together a team of criminals, recruiting Cate Blanchett's Lou, Mindy Kaling's Amita, Rihanna's Nine Ball, Awkwafina's Constance, Helena Bonham Carter's Rose and Sarah Paulson's Tammy.

As Ocean explains, the plan is to steal a necklace off of the neck of one of the stars attending the annual Met Gala -- specifically Anne Hathaway's Daphne Kluger.

The Gary Ross-directed film is set to hit theaters on June 8, 2018. Ross co-wrote the screenplay with Olivia Milch.
