Heat Vision breakdown
Chaos Walking, based on the book of the same name by Patrick Ness, takes place in a world where all women have been killed by a germ and all living creatures can hear one another's thoughts in a stream of images, words and sounds called "The Noise." Holland stars as Todd, a boy forced to flee his town with his loyal dog who comes upon Viola (Ridley), who may be the key to unlocking their New World's secrets.
Jaenada will play Wilf, an untrustworthy drifter who becomes instrumental in Todd and Viola’s plot against Mayor Prentiss (Mikkelsen).
The script was adapted by Charlie Kaufman, Patrick Ness, John Lee Hancock and Chris Ford. Doug Davison, Allison Shearmur and Erwin Stoff are set to produce the pic.
Lionsgate will release Chaos Walking on March 1, 2019.
Jaenada will appear in Terry Gilliam's long-awaited The Man Who Killed Don Quixote and the drama Loving Pablo, opposite Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz. The Spanish actor was last seen in the Blake Lively survival thriller The Shallows and the Amy Schumer comedy Snatched.
Jaenada is repped by Paradigm, Grandview and Ziffren Brittenham.
