Party On With 'Bill & Ted' Trivia-Themed Board Game
Party on, dudes!
Coinciding with the release of Bill & Ted Face the Music, which brings Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter back into their iconic slacker roles, there is now a historical trivia-themed board game for fans of the sci-fi buddy comedies to brush up on worldly facts.
Heat Vision breakdown
From Los Angeles-based company Barry & Jason Games and Entertainment, Bill & Ted's Excellent Historical Trivia Travel Game includes trivia questions with corresponding characters — like Genghis Khan for geography, Beethoven for music history or Billy the Kid for "heinous history" — to collect and store in your own personal phone booth.
There are also "Wyld" cards featuring questions related to psychology, philosophy and certain specific skills.
Two to four players ages 12 and up can enjoy the game. Naturally, the first rule under "How to Play" is "Be excellent to each other."
The first player to collect six historical figures in their phone booth and submit them in an oral report at San Dimas High School passes the history class and saves the world. Oh, and wins the game.
In keeping with the travel theme, the game features magnetic cards that might be slightly harder to lose than regular game pieces. As the box suggests, it's perfect for cars, planes, trains, boats, living rooms, and even time machines.
Bill & Ted’s Excellent Historical Trivia Travel Game officially launches on Sept. 9. Also, it comes in a conveniently packed can shaped like a phone booth. Check out the game here.
