Paul Giamatti, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook Joining Sci-Fi Thriller 'Morgan' (Exclusive)

Kate Mara and Anya Taylor-Joy are starring in the project.

Paul Giamatti and Toby Jones have joined the cast of Morgan, Fox's sci-fi thriller being directed by Ridley Scott's son Luke Scott.

Additionally, Boyd Holbrook is in negotiations to join the project as well.

Kate Mara and Anya Taylor-Joy, who starred in the Sundance horror breakout The Witch, are toplining the project that tells of a corporate risk-management consultant (Mara) who is summoned to a remote research lab to determine whether or not to terminate a genetically-engineered being (Taylor-Joy).

Giamatti will play a psychologist who has trouble relating to people while Jones will play the chief scientist in charge of the facility. Holbrook is a nutritionist at the facility.

Ridley Scott is producing with his Scott Free companions Michael Schaefer and Elishia Holmes. George Heller is exec producing.

Giamatti, repped by UTA, Kipperman Management and Sloane Offer, will be seen in two of this summer's noteworthy movies, New Line's earthquake disaster thriller San Andreas and Universal's N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton.

Jones, repped by UTA and Bloom Hergott, is one of the stars in Wayward Pines and will be seen in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2.

Holbrook, an up-and-comer who was seen in Gone Girl and Run All Night, next appears in Jane Got a Gun. He is repped by CAA, LBI Entertainment, and Morris Yorn.
