Rob Cohen has come aboard to direct Crash Bandits, an action-adventure movie being made by Millennium Films.

The project centers on the rivalry between two treasure hunters who specialize in salvaging old plane wrecks. When they get a bead on the ultimate prize, they find themselves in a race against each other that puts lives at risk.

Michael Stokes wrote the original script, but Cohen will do a rewrite as part of his development deal.
