Marvel's Disney+series She-Hulk has tapped veteran television director Kat Corio, who is in negotiations to direct the show's pilot.

Corio would also direct several other episodes and executive produce the series, which is based on the Stan Lee-created character Jennifer Walters, an attorney and cousin of Bruce Banner (aka The Hulk). An emergency blood transfusion from her cousin gave Walters her powers but unlike Banner, She-Hulk was able to keep her intelligence and personality when she Hulked out.

Jessica Gao, who won an Emmy for her work on Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty, developed and lead the writing team on She-Hulk.

Corio's television credits include episodes of It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia, Modern Family, and Netflix's Dead to Me. She most recently directed Jennifer Lopez romantic comedy Marry Me.

She-Hulk is one of multiple Disney+ series from Marvel Studios, which also includes The Falcon and Winter Soldier, WandaVision and Loki.
