Super Nintendo World is set to open Feb. 4, 2021 at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka, Japan.

Nintendo's game director and famed Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto gave a virtual tour of the company's Mario-themed Super Nintendo World attraction during a recent Nintendo Direct livestream.

Located at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka, the park is packed with iconic Mario features right from the entrance, in which you walk through a giant green pipe that leads visitors to the atrium of Princess Peach's castle.

As Miyamoto continued through the park, he walked through an underground area sprinkled with Bob-ombs, visited a cafe showing the mushroom-shaped character Toad cooking food, as well as stopped by Bowser's Castle, which will include a Mario Kart-themed ride named Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge.

Visitors will be able to use a "Power-Up Band," essentially a smart wristband, to interact with several features in the park such as punching question mark blocks and collecting coins.

Super Nintendo World is set to open Feb. 4, 2021. Miyamoto shared there are plans to open similar Super Nintendo World parks stateside in Hollywood, California and Orlando, Florida.
