It's a good thing you were wearing that helmet.

An incredible piece of movie history is up for auction, and bidders don't need The Schwartz to get it — just a big bank account.

The helmet with fold-down mask that Rick Moranis donned while playing Dark Helmet in 1987's Spaceballs is up for auction through Invaluable. The price is currently at $8,000.

"Consisting of 20-inches around by 14-inches tall, the cartoonish Darth Vader-stylized helmet is constructed of a heavy vacuum formed plastic component shell affixed to internal construction worker’s hard-hat liner to fit the actor," the auction description reads. It also features "screw-hinged movable faceplate section featuring vents, metalized shower drain mouth piece and triangular embedded tinted see-through lenses."

Moranis previously told The Hollywood Reporter the original idea for the mask in the Mel Brooks-directed space spoof was a full-body prop, but that was later scaled down to what is on film.

"It was very light — actually took one prop guy to maneuver it," Moranis told THR. "Where's it now? The Smithsonian?"

According to the Invaluable site, the helmet and mask have only "minor production wear and age," but are in "very good to fine condition," considering they are 30 years old.

The helmet is not the only Spaceballs treasure up for auction. Also listed on the site is a miniature model of Lone Starr and Barf's Eagle 5 space Winnebago used for filming. Bidding on that starts at $20,000.

"The hyper-realistic miniature RV, retrofitted for space travel, measures 35 inches-long by 10.7 inches-tall and 37 inches wide," according to the auction site. "Assembled and finished with obsessive attention to minute detail like tiny rearview mirrors, a truck horn on the roof, door handles, fuel ports, decal branding to air conditioning vents, minuscule windshield wiper, realistic striping and badging, and much more."

The model also features a tiny Lone Starr and Barf at the helm.
