It's a trap! Or maybe not.

Adam Driver will intrigue Star Wars fans with an interview on Sunday Today in which he discusses his Sith character, Kylo Ren.

The 33-year-old actor doesn't give anyway any specifics, obviously, but he does make a comment that is interesting when asked by host Willie Geist if fans "will be happy with what happens to Kylo."

Driver responds, "God, I hope. I think it will be hopefully unexpected."

Now, this could mean anything. Perhaps Luke or Rey cut him down or maybe he pulls a Darth Vader and redeems himself. Or maybe none of the above and Driver is just toying.

The full Driver interview with Geist airs Sunday on NBC.

A second trailer for The Last Jedi could drop at any time

The highly anticipated Star Wars film opens Dec. 15.
