The 'Rogue One: Scarif' DLC will tie-in with the latest Lucasfilm release.

When it comes to stealing the plans for the Death Star, one important member of the Rogue One team hasn't been seen in any of the trailers for next month's movie so far: you. In the latest DLC update for the video game Star Wars Battlefront, players get to join the mission as Jyn Erso — or try to keep the Empire's secrets as Orson Krennic.

The trailer for Rogue One: Scarif was released Thursday, showing the game's version of Felicity Jones and Ben Mendelsohn's characters in animated action, as well as previewing a glimpse of the update's new "Infiltration Mode," as the player guides the U-Wing to the surface, avoiding Imperial blockades and fire en route.

In addition to Jyn, Krennic and the U-Wing, new additions to the Scarif DLC will include the blasters-of-choice for the movie's hero and villain, giving gamers the chance to play with Jyn's A180 Blaster Pistol — which apparently can be "swiftly reconfigured into a blaster rifle, sniper rifle or ion launcher" — or Krennic's DT-29.

The Rogue One: Scarif DLC, which features four new maps for the titular planet, will be available to Battlefront Season Pass owners on Dec. 6. Watch the new trailer below.
