Settle down, nerds.

Not everything John Boyega tweets about pertains to Star Wars, something he had to remind his social media followers on Wednesday when some had a panic attack thinking he just ruined something in the upcoming Last Jedi

Boyega, who plays Finn in the new films, posted an innocuous tweet about an upcoming role in which it seems he will finally play a bad guy.

"Time to play a villain ey...," Boyega tweeted to his more than 1.1 million followers.

That is when all hell broke loose, some believing he let a secret slip about the Finn character in the upcoming films.

Boyega sent out a couple of tweets afterward reassuring all that not everything he talks about is Star Wars related.

The only thing better than the fan panic and ire was that Mark Hamill saw the commotion and, of course, had to get in on the fun.

"See how easy it is to accidentally leak a spoiler, son? (Hope you didn't say anything about OUR relationship in #EpVIII) #ScaredSithless," Hamill tweeted.

Last Jedi is due in theaters Dec. 15.
