Rest assured: the Force still will awaken, even when "sweded."

There's been an awakening ... on a far, far smaller budget than Lucasfilm ever could imagine.

YouTube channel Dumb Drum, created by Roque Rodriguez and Bryan Harley, has posted a sweded version of the final trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, re-creating the now-familiar tease for J.J. Abrams' revival of the fan-favorite space-opera franchise with little more than some cardboard, willing friends and a lot of enthusiasm.

The result is something that, strangely, still kind of works — even in a second video, which plays both trailers next to each other, allowing for a side-by-side comparison. Admit it: The cheaper Kylo Ren actually looks surprisingly good, considering.

This isn't the first Force Awakens swede the Dumb Drum team has created; the first tease got the same treatment earlier this year. Additionally, the team has remade trailers for Avengers: Age of Ultron and Iron Man 3.
