'Star Wars' Team Launches Omaze Contest to Attend Premiere
The Dec. 14 Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiere in L.A. is already shaping up to be one of the hottest tickets in Hollywood, but eight lucky fans might be able to get in, thanks to a charity fundraising campaign launched through Omaze.
Starting today, fans can enter for a chance to win tickets to either the L.A. or London premiere of The Force Awakens by making a donation on Omaze.com/StarWars.

Two winners will get tickets for themselves and three guests each to either the London or L.A. premiere and will walk the red carpet and meet the cast before seeing the highly-anticipated sequel.
The campaign, which was announced Thursday by Harrison Ford and runs through 11:59 p.m. PT on Dec. 4, is part of the Star Wars: Force for Change initiative designed to empower people to make a positive impact on the world. The initiative was launched in May of 2014 by Force Awakens director JJ Abrams, who offered fans a chance to appear in Episode VII and later added an advance private screening of the film. That contest raised more than $4.26 million for UNICEF Innovation Labs and programs that benefit the world's most vulnerable children.
Donations through the new Star Wars campaign will be distributed equally among fifteen charities from around the world, individually chosen by Abrams, cast members and producer and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy.
