Rogue One: A Star Wars story is already invading TV airwaves.

Though it's months away from release, the Star Wars stand-alone film has debuted its first TV spot, revealing a new tagline for the project.

"On December 16, hope begins with rebellion," reads text in the ad — a nice nod to 1977's Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, which the story in Rogue One will lead into, as a ragtag group of rebels attempts to steal the plans for the Death Star.

So far, Lucasfilm has released one trailer for Rogue One, as well as behind-the-scenes sizzle reel, which debuted at Star Wars Celebration Europe last month. Fans in London were also treated to a second trailer (featuring a fan favorite from the original trilogy), but that has not yet been released online.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be released Dec. 16.
