The full-length "making of" doc will also be released on Blu-ray in April.

Fans bemoaning the fact that Rogue One, the first standalone Star Wars movie, won't be released until December might feel as if they can't wait another nine months before returning to a galaxy far, far away. Luckily, they won't have to.

The SXSW Film Festival announced Tuesday that it will host the world premiere of Secrets of The Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey, a feature-length documentary about the creation of the massively successful revival of the space opera franchise that includes all-new interviews with the cast and crew of the movie as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes footage.

The screening, to be held March 14 at the Paramount Theater, will be followed by a Q&A session with the Force Awakens VFX supervisor Roger Guyett, supervising sound editor Matthew Wood and co-producer Michelle Rejwan.

For those who won't be able to attend, Secrets of The Force Awakens will be available on the home Digital HD/Blu-ray combo pack of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, to be released April 5.

More details about the screening can be found here.
