'Out of the Shadows' listened to fans — but not in a good way.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is "a sequel that gave fans everything they asked for, and still kind of sucked," at least according to its Honest Trailer.

The sequel featured more turtles, more characters from the cartoons and addressed other complaints from the 2014 first installment — but still made less at the box office than its predecessor.

Honest Trailers also takes issue with the portrayal of the highly anticipated Casey Jones (Stephen Amell), who was portrayed as a "bumbling cop who makes roller skates out of an office chair and never fights alongside the turtles."

If you agree with the Honest Trailers assessment of the film, perhaps you'd rather revisit the 1990 original TMNT with our oral history looking at the how 70-lbs. rubber costumes helped make it a box-office hit.
