Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia is back with a violent, post-apocalyptic thriller The Divide.

Anchor Bay's The Divide centers on nine strangers, all living in a New York high-rise apartment, who escape a nuclear attack by hiding out in the building's bunker-like basement. After being trapped for days waiting to be rescued, the nine tenants spiral out of control, each turning on each other -- and one survivor holds onto the small chance that they'll be able to escape.

Genre legend Michael Biehn (Aliens, Terminator), Lauren German, Ashton Holmes, Courtney B. Vance and Rosanna Arquette co-star in the thriller directed by Xavier Gens (Hitman), set for theatrical release on Jan. 13. The film received buzz at last year's SXSW film festival.

The Divide has an explosive and chaotic opening, with people trying to get to safety after their city is under attack. The ominous score doesn't help matters, adding to everyone's impending doom.
