Weasel, is that you...?

T.J. Miller has been attached to Tim Miller's Deadpool for some time, but the identity of the character he'll be playing has remained a secret … until now.

At the end of a tweet posted Tuesday, Miller wrote "#Deadpool #WeaselThin," which would seem to be a reference to a longtime Deadpool supporting character in comic book mythology, Jack Hammer — also known, appropriately enough for the purposes of this story, as Weasel.

Debuting in 1993's Deadpool: The Circle Chase No. 1, Hammer was established as a high school peer of Peter Parker who became the supplier of technology, weaponry and intelligence to the supervillain community in later life, as well as one of Deadpool's few friends. Created by Fabian Niceza and Joe Madureira, the character has shown up outside of comic books in the 2006 videogame Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.

Miller will appear alongside Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin and Gina Carano in the Fox movie, which is scheduled for release on Feb. 12, 2016.
