Loki vs. Scarlet Witch? Tom Hiddleston, Elizabeth Olsen Debate 'Avengers' Showdown at TIFF

The Marvel actors co-star in the Hank Williams biopic 'I Saw the Light', written and directed by Marc Abraham.

In a Marvel showdown of Loki and Scarlet Witch, who would reign victorious?

After discussing I Saw the Light, their biopic on country legend Hank Williams which made its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival, Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen weighed in on their Avengers characters' battle.

"I think Scarlet Witch would win — she's one of the most powerful people in the universe," she told The Hollywood Reporter. I Saw the Light writer-director Marc Abraham agreed: "I’m betting on Scarlet Witch."

Hiddleston then responded, first noting of Olsen's character, "The thing is, you're dealing with someone who's a witch, which is admittedly impressive biographically."

"But you put that up against a god, I'm just not sure that there's a fair contest," he said of Loki. "He's an immortal being, so my chips are firmly in Loki's corner."

I Saw the Light hits theaters Nov. 27. Watch THR's chat with Hiddleston, Olsen and Abraham above.
