'It' Trailer Gives Horror a Smiling Face

The Stephen King adaptation opens Sept. 8.

It is ready for round two.

The new trailer for the Stephen King adaptation dropped Thursday, and there's good reason for fans of the 1986 novel to be excited and once again frightened.

The trailer shows off a lot more of the evil clown Pennywise (Bill Skarsgard) terrorizing the town of Derry. Director Andy Muschietti's cast includes young stars Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs and Jeremy Ray Taylor.

The first It trailer caused quite a sensation when it debuted in March, where it went on to set the record for being viewed 197 million times in 24 hours

New Line is releasing It Sept. 8.
