Worlds will collide when man meets orc this Friday.

Ahead of the release of its first trailer later this week, the first poster for Warcraft — director Duncan Jones' adaptation of popular role-playing game World of Warcraft — has been released online.

With a suitably ominous tagline — "Two Worlds. One Home." — the poster was debuted on Twitter Monday, showing an orc and a human separated by a sword. The tweet promised that "enemies will unite and worlds will collide" in the movie, with the trailer dated for 11/6, which just happens to be the first day of this year's BlizzCon, an annual convention hosted by Warcraft creators Blizzard.

The worlds in question are the dying world of Draenor, abandoned by orcs and used as a staging ground to invade and capture Azeroth, the second of the two realms. The two are linked by a magical portal that brings orcs and humans into conflict as part of the mythology of the successful game franchise.

The trailer will follow the worldwide debut of footage from the movie at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, where seven minutes of footage was screened to attendees to much excitement.

Warcraft, directed by Jones, stars Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Paula Patton and Clancy Brown. The movie will open June 10.
