"For years, our world has been at peace — but something is coming."

The first teaser trailer for next year's Warcraft has been released, revealing Duncan Jones' version of the popular MMORPG World of Warcraft to the public, complete with unlikely alliances, dying worlds and the promise of a brighter future if only violence can be avoided. (Of course, the movie is called Warcraft … )

Premiering at BlizzCon, the annual convention hosted by World of Warcraft publishers Blizzard, the trailer gives audiences their first chance to meet the protagonists of the movie, Lothar (Travis Fimmel) and Durotan (Toby Kebbell), a human and orc attempting to bring their races together and avoid outright war for control of the world of Azeroth.

The movie also features Paula Patton, Ben Foster and Dominic Cooper. Jones co-wrote the screenplay with Charles Leavitt. Warcraft will be released June 10, 2016.
