Lance Reddick, best known for his work on Fringe and The Wire, has joined Kate Bosworth and Tyler Hoechlin in The Domestics, a post-apocalyptic thriller set up at MGM.

Mike P. Nelson wrote the script and is directing the project, which is in preproduction and is being produced by Hollywood Gang.

Set in the harrowing future, Domestics tells of a young couple, played by Bosworth and Hoechlin, who have to travel through a dangerously gang-infested countryside in order to make it home.

As the third lead of the movie, Reddick will play a man who invites the duo into his home but who may also be more than meets the eye.

A shoot in New Orleans is being prepped.

Reddick recently co-starred on Amazon’s recent original series Bosch, and will be seen in February in John Wick: Chapter 2, in which he reprises his role of Charon, the concierge of a hotel frequented by assassins.

Reddick is repped by Paradigm and Grandview.
