'Wolverine 3': First Photo of an Older Professor X Revealed

Professor X is back — and he's looking more seasoned than in previous films.
Director James Mangold has shared the first photo of Patrick Stewart from Logan, the third Wolverine film starring Hugh Jackman. The reveal comes one day after Mangold shared the first poster and a page from the script, which included plot details such as this version of Logan is older, has a diminished healing factor, chronic pain and drinking issues.

"Basically, if you're on the make for a hyper choreographed, gravity defying, city-block destroying CG f--kathon, this ain't your movie," the script read. "In this flick, people get hurt or killed when shit falls on them. They will get just as hurt or just as killed if they get hit with something big and heavy, like, say, a car. Should anyone in our story have the misfortune to fall off a roof or out a window, they won't bounce. They will die."
The script excerpt helps lend credence to speculation that the film will draw from "Old Man Logan," a 2008-09 comic book storyline that finds Wolverine living in a world in which villains have taken over. He's older and must go on a road trip with Hawkeye in order to make a delivery that will earn Logan enough money to pay his rent to his villainous landlords (who happen to be descendants of The Hulk). Of course, much of that is off the table (we won't be seeing any Avengers in this Fox project), but the idea of an older, weakened Wolverine going on his last adventure sounds like it is in the cards.
Logan is set for March 3, 2017.
