The World of Avatar will open this summer.

The world of Avatar is still a few years away from returning to the big screen, but visiting Pandora will be a possibility a little sooner.

Avatar mastermind James Cameron has offered a new look at the upcoming attraction, Pandora — The World of Avatar, which is coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando this summer.

"I don't know if I can express how it feels to see something that I imagined in 1995 suddenly made physically real," Cameron says in a video showing off the world. "They are using the absolute cutting-edge technology. Stuff that has never been applied before."

Some of the attractions he touts in the video include flying on the back of a banshee and the Na'vi River Journey, which Cameron promises concludes with something unlike anything that has been seen before.

Cameron currently is working on three sequels for Avatar, with the first expected to roll out in 2018.
