New 'X-Men: Apocalypse' Trailer Debuts During Super Bowl 50

It's the end of the world as we know it.

Leave it to the X-Men to put things in perspective: no matter how poorly you might feel your team is doing in Sunday's Super Bowl 50, the latest trailer for this summer's X-Men: Apocalypse puts everything in perspective by showing just what the end of the world really looks like.

Of course, just because the follow-up to 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past features a new villain called Apocalypse (Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Oscar Isaac) with a plan to eradicate humanity, it doesn't mean that things are as actually as bad as they seem. After all, Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) has put together a new team of superheroes to save the day, including Sophie Turner's Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan's Cyclops and Lana Condor's Jubilee.

Apocalypse also features the return of Michael Fassbender's Magneto, Nicholas Hoult's Beast and Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique, with the latter apparently making her last appearance in the series.
