Everyone needs friends like this.
A roster of A-list talent contributed to the audiobook version of entertainment lawyer Kevin Morris’ debut collection of short stories, White Man’s Problems. The stars reading a story include Matthew McConaughey, Trey Parker, Matt Stone, Josh Holloway, Pete Yorn, Sarah Polley, Minnie Driver and John C. McGinley. All of them are friends of Morris, who is well-known in Hollywood as a partner at the law firm Morris Yorn Barnes Levine Krintzman Rubenstein & Kohner.
White Man’s Problems published last year to successful career as a lawyer, always had a yearning to be a writer and endured multiple rejections before self-publishing White Man’s Problems and then picking up a deal with Grove Atlantic. In fact, the title comes from one of the rejection notes from an agent (“No offense, but these are just white man’s problems”).
The audio book is being released on Aug. 11 by Audible. Hear a clip from McConaughey here and from Matt Stone here.
