Amy Adams will receive high honors at this year’s Baby2Baby Gala on Nov. 10 at 3Labs in Los Angeles.
The Sharp Objects actress is set to receive the Giving Tree Award for her commitment to aiding children living in poverty.
“We are thrilled to announce Amy Adams as our 2018 honoree at this year’s Gala,” said Baby2Baby co-presidents Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein in a statement. “Amy’s tireless dedication to children in need is an inspiration, and we’re proud to honor her on our most important night of the year.”
The actress and mother will be honored at the 2018 Baby2Baby Gala Presented by Paul Mitchell, following in the footsteps of past honorees Jennifer Garner, Jessica Alba, Kerry Washington, Drew Barrymore, Kate Hudson and Gwyneth Paltrow.
The annual event is curated by Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo of Animal, Son of a Gun, Jon & Vinny’s and Trois Familia. For the first time ever, the duo will also host the official Jon & Vinny’s Afterparty, where guests will be treated to custom cocktails from Marc Rose and Med Abrous’ critically acclaimed hotspot, The Spare Room, crafted by the woman dubbed American Bartender of the Year by the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards, Yael Vengroff.
This year’s sponsors include title sponsor Paul Mitchell, Nordstrom, Volvo Cars and Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors Foundation.
The mission of Baby2Baby, led by Patricof and Weinstein, is to aid low-income children, ages zero to 12, by supplying diapers, clothing and all the basic necessities that every child deserves. To date, the organization has distributed over 50 million items to children living in poverty.
