Dan MonickEmmy award-winning chef Anthony Bourdain will bring his very own eatery to New York City this year. Called Bourdain Market, the new dining hall will offer a variety of food options from 40 to 50 vendors around the world.
“It will be fast and accessible foods, with hundreds of options,” the Parts Unknown host recently told the Wall Street Journal. “You can have roast goose; I can have beef rendang.”
Bourdain has yet to reveal the location and opening date of his upcoming venture, though it is speculated that the diner will be located in a major building landmark.
In addition to developing his own mega market, the chef currently stands as host of ABC’s cooking competition show The Taste and CNN’s Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown, which will air its fifth season this spring.
