Larry Gagosian Looking to Open Gallery in West Hollywood

Larry Gagosian soon could be expanding his L.A. footprint. The art mogul, who counts 14 galleries across the globe that boast $925 million in annual revenue (with five in New York), has been on the hunt for another space in the West Hollywood area and has taken meetings at various buildings, according to a well-placed source involved in the search.

Gagosian, whose billionaire clients include Eli Broad, has a gallery on North Camden Drive in Beverly Hills; its current show featuring 14 early sculptures by the late Anthony Caro opened April 17. Gagosian didn’t respond to a request for comment.
