Tie your napkin ’round your neck, cherie, and Disneyland provides the rest.
The Southern California theme park is celebrating the live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast with the Red Rose Taverne.
The Hollywood Reporter highlights 7 things to know about the new eatery:
Location, location, location. The Red Rose Taverne is located in Fantasyland, behind Pinocchio’s Daring Journey and across from Casey Jr. Circus Train. Previously known as the Village Haus, the usual Pinocchio touches have been replaced by Beauty and the Beast-themed decor that references Belle and the beloved storyline.

Limited time only. Opened Feb. 24, the pop-up restaurant will eventually come to an end, like the Beast’s rose in that bell jar. However, Disney doesn’t usually announce the end dates of its attractions until closer to that time frame.

Delayed upon arrival. Though the quick-service eatery has simply taken over an existing location, there has been an unusually extended wait to get inside and be their guest. We’re talking almost two hours on some days! Who’d have ever thought that this could be?
On the menu. The hotspot offers a variety of options, from sandwiches to salads to flatbreads (including multiple vegetarian options). Among the most popular items is the Slow-Cooked Beef Poutine ($10.99, pictured below), which plates slow-cooked beef and gravy over seasoned waffle-cut fries with picked onions and cheese curds.

Also popular are the Chicken Sandwich a la Lumiere ($10.99) — with grilled chicken breast, apple slaw, onion-bacon jam and fried cherry peppers, served with pommes frites or sliced apples — and the Chef’s Chopped Salad ($8.99, pictured below) with cabbage, romaine and iceberg lettuce, smoked bacon, apples, hard-cooked eggs, blue-cheese crumbles and garlic croutons tossed in apple vinaigrette.

Dessert? The gray stuff. Though there are only two desserts on the menu, one definitely outshines the other, and it seems to run out quite often before the end of the day. The Grey Stuff Gateau ($5.49, pictured below) first debuted at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Fla., as a white-chocolate mousse, but the Disneyland version adds red velvet cake, a raspberry center and a butter-cookie base. Lumiere himself even sings about it — ask the dishes!

A villainous drink. Thirsty? Then revel in Gaston’s Famous Brew, an apple-mango punch topped with passion-fruit foam. Diners can also take home the villain’s grinning face on a souvenir mug that features the Beast on the opposite side.
Elusive souvenir glass. The item that’s in hot demand with both souvenir collectors and Beauty and the Beast fanatics is the red rose cup, which often sells out before the end of the day. Disneyland has had to put a five-per-customer limit on the product, which has been spotted on eBay for almost 10 times the original price. Little do people realize, the park is planning to restock this item soon, most likely to coincide with the film’s release date on March 17.
