Marc AngelesVeteran producer Frank Mancuso Jr. and wife Kim have listed their Beverly Hills home for $24 million.
The 3.5-acre Spanish-influenced estate, located at 9739 Oak Pass Road, was designed by architect John Reed and boasts 13,598 square feet, four bedroom suites in the main house and two bedrooms in a separate guest house. Mauricio Umansky, CEO/founder of The Agency, is handling the listing for Mancuso along with co-listing agents from The Agency, Jaime Cuevas and Billy Rose.
Positioned on a gated street with a gated, sweeping drive, the recently built private compound is described as an Old World-style estate with elaborately carved doors, patterned encaustic tiles and ornamental iron work, some of which was sourced and hand-selected from the central Mexican city of San Miguel de Allende. The home offers indoor/outdoor living and is built for entertaining complete with a five-car garage.
According to Umansky, Mancuso has owned the property on Oak Pass since 1989, and was preparing to build on the lot in 1990 before purchasing another home on La Colina Avenue, also in Beverly Hills. When Mancuso married, he and his wife started searching for more property for their children. They then decided to build an estate on Oak Pass.
Mancuso and his family are now selling in favor of transitioning to a new home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. They plan to go back and forth to L.A., Umansky added.
Mancuso’s producing credits include such films as Species, Stigmata, Ronin, Cool World and several installments of The Friday the 13th franchise.
