Freddie Prinze Jr. has certainly had a memorable Thanksgiving weekend.
The 38-year-old actor tweeted that he underwent spinal surgery on Nov. 20 to correct spinal disc issues. He said that the procedure was a success and that he is now taking part in physical therapy.
“They said 2 weeks and im already feelin pretty good,” he tweeted on Nov. 22 about his recovery.

He then updated his fans on Nov. 26 with a photo of himself smiling while wearing a neck brace. “#KeepItPlayful Learnin to walk again is like learning jiu-jitsu — 1 technique at a time,” Prinze captioned the photo.
The actor, known for 1999’s She’s All That and the Scooby-Doo film franchise, appears to be staying upbeat. He joked on Twitter that wife Sarah Michelle Gellar, with whom he has two children, picked out the sunglasses he was wearing in his photos but that he was responsible for the choice of neck brace.
His tweets can be seen below.
