Actor Gary Busey struck a woman with his car on Saturday while backing out of a shopping center parking lot in Malibu, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
The incident took place Friday at 3 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway, the Los Angeles Sheriff Department told THR. The woman sustained minor injuries and was released after being treated on site.
Busey, 70, was not cited in the accident, and no substances were involved, according to police. His rep did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

This is not the first time the actor, who was Oscar-nominated for 1978’s The Buddy Holly Story, has been involved in a vehicular mishap. In 1988, he was in a motorcycle accident while not wearing a helmet, fracturing his skull.
