Hot on the heels of a two-week press tour with Lily James for Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and TV series War and Peace, hairstylist Ashley Streicher is racking up frequent flier miles once again — this time to meet London-based bloggers and editors to introduce Strivectin’s new haircare line.
“Being in another city, let alone another country, is always inspiring,” says Ashley, who, along with sisters and fellow beauty experts, brow expert Kristie and makeup guru Jenn (with whom she regularly shares clients), just marked the one-year anniversary of their Striiike glam studio in Beverly Hills. Here, Ashley gives us a glimpse into three-day jaunt to London before she headed back to her salon chair to get the likes of Emily Blunt and Kiernan Shipka awards-season ready.
My long flight to London calls for a seriously soft, sleepable Nike jumpsuit.
My first stop in London? Liberty is always my first stop. I love their Valentine’s Day decor.
My room at the London Edition hotel is so swank. Pictured here with my new friend in my room.
Also *love* the restaurant at the Edition. I love traveling and dining alone.
I was invited to Show Beauty to have a blowdry. These hair products are exquisite, as is this beautiful salon.
My bathtub after a long (jet-lagged) day working with #StrivectinHair.
Team Strivectin takes me to the most fun restaurant I’ve ever been to, Sketch. The entire place is pink and has the most perfect pink chairs.
Dinner was incredible. #Sketch
The bathrooms at Sketch were also incredible.
I loved Sketch and the experience so much that the next day I went to another one of their restaurants for the afternoon for afternoon tea (and champagne). This restaurant is called The Glade and it’s a fairytale room.
Champagne and matching nails at Glade.
