Harrison Ford on Sunday came to the aid of a driver whose car veered off of State Route 126 in Santa Paula, California, a rep for the Santa Paula fire department confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.
After the accident unfolded at about 12:10 p.m. local time, the actor, who, according to the SPFD rep had been at the airport earlier in the day and was getting on the freeway, was among the many drivers who were stopped for the vehicle that had run into some trees and fencing at Santa Maria Street, which parallels the freeway.
Ford helped the driver of the vehicle, which had been going east on the freeway. The driver was transported to Santa Paula hospital with minor injuries, the SPFD rep said.
