Moses Brown School made its announcement about this week’s snow day with the help of Frozen. The head of the school, Matt Glendinning, stars in a hilariously sweet “Let It Go” parody in which he parades around his school singing about school being closed.
“Don’t come to school here at MB, today the snow has set you free,” sings Glendinning. Well, sort of. The voice in the video is actually that of the choir director Justin Peters, and the man who came up with the idea is the school’s director of communications and community engagement Adam Olenn.
Olenn said he wrote the lyrics in about 15 minutes and it took about a week and a half to film the video. “I’ve seen a couple of funny principal snow day closings, and I thought we could really crush that,” Olenn told Boston’s WBUR.
