The Cape and Islands, Massachusetts, district attorney announced Friday a meeting was scheduled between his office and the teenage son of Heather Unruh, who accused Kevin Spacey of sexually assaulting him at a bar in July 2016, the Boston Globe reported.
Unruh, a former Boston television news anchor, held a media conference last week where she detailed her son’s account of the alleged encounter with the Oscar-winning actor. Unruh said a police report was filed in the matter, but authorities said due to state statute, they could not confirm or deny its existence.
District Attorney Michael O’Keefe said the meeting between his office and the victim will occur soon and he is interested in “everything that’s relevant and material” to the alleged assault, the Globe reported.
The victim’s mother alleges the former House of Cards star got her 18-year-old son drunk before he put his hands down the boy’s pants and grabbed his genitals.
Speaking directly to Spacey, Unruh said at the conference, “Shame on you for what you did to my son. And shame on you for using your apology to Anthony Rapp to come out as a gay man. That was an appalling attempt to deflect attention away from what you really are — a sexual predator. Your actions are criminal.”
Spacey, who also is currently being investigated by the London police, was fired by Netflix after the allegations surfaced. The actor is being edited out of the upcoming Ridley Scott picture All the Money in the World.
