Sylvester Stallone added a bit of Hollywood glamor to halftime during a soccer match between English Premier League clubs Everton and West Bromwich Albion on Monday night.
The actor was at Goodison Park, the home of Everton, as a guest of boxer Tony Bellew, who also plays a role in the upcoming Rocky spinoff Creed. Bellew, who is a big Everton supporter, tweeted supporters to stay in their seats at halftime to see a message from Sly as well as revealing that the filmmakers would be shooting crowd scenes for Creed at the stadium.
Need a favour from you blue boys tonight! If your in Goodison Park then please stay in your seat at halftime for the short message #COYB

Directed by Fruitvale Station‘s Ryan Coogler, Creed stars Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed, son of the legendary Apollo who enlists Rocky Balboa to climb his way to the world boxing championship.
Speaking to the Everton club’s website, Bellew revealed more about his role in Creed: “I play the pound-for-pound champion of the world and I end up facing Adonis Creed. Rocky Balboa gets involved when he agrees to train Adonis. But if Adonis wants to be the champion, he has to go through me.”
This is not the first time Stallone has appeared at an Everton game. A friend of Everton director Robert Earl, the founder and CEO of Planet Hollywood, Stallone was presented with a team scarf before kickoff eight years ago.
