Twin brothers Dylan and Cole Sprouse, who made their film debut at age 7 starring opposite Adam Sandler in 1999’s Big Daddy, are now college graduates.
Both brothers, now 22, took to social media on May 20 to upload photos from their graduation ceremony at New York University, where Cole studied archaeology and Dylan studied video game design at the university’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. The twins can be seen sporting matching purple gowns.
The Sprouse brothers are best known for Disney’s The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and its spinoff series The Suite Life on Deck from 2005 to 2011, starring alongside Ashley Tisdale, Brenda Song and other former Disney stars.
Though both left the industry in 2011, they’ve often commented on their former careers as child actors. Dylan’s Twitter profile jokingly reads, “Child actor who didn’t do meth,” while Cole tweeted shortly after the commencement ceremony: “We’ve tried to do right, to fix some of the negative stereotypes of child stardom. We’ve had some bumps, but I’m so glad we went to Uni.”
