What were your favorite covers of The Hollywood Reporter magazine last year? Now’s your chance to vote.
From Oprah Winfrey to Angelina Jolie, every week The Hollywood Reporter magazine highlights the best of Hollywood on its cover. This year, five of THR‘s front pages are in the running for the American Society of Magazine Editors’ 2015 Best Cover Contest, which is voted on by readers (click here to vote).
THR is vying for the honor in the following categories:
— Brainiest, for the Oct. 16 issue featuring Shonda Rhimes
— Entertainment and Celebrity, for the Aug. 22 issue featuring a tribute to Robin Williams
— Fashion and Beauty, for the Sept. 29 “Designer A-List” issue featuring Sarah Jessica Parker
— News and Politics, for the May 2 New York issue featuring John Oliver
— Sports, for the July 25 Sports issue featuring NFL star Robert Griffin III
Each week starting Monday, a new category will be posted on ASME’s Facebook page and voting for that week will open. There will be a total of 10 categories open for voting as the contest extends through March 23. The order in which the contest categories will be announced is:
News and Politics, Jan. 19

Visit ASME’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ASME1963 weekly to vote beginning Jan. 19. The highest number of Facebook likes will determine the winners, who will be awarded ASME Readers’ Choice Awards.
In addition to being selected for ASME’s cover contest, The Hollywood Reporter was recently awarded two nominations for the prestigious National Magazine Awards handed out by the organization.
THR has been nominated for Magazine of the Year, marking its first nomination in the category. It will compete with Vogue, New York, Cosmopolitan and Better Homes & Gardens for the award, which “honors magazines for print and digital editorial excellence and for magazine-branded content and services, including conferences and events.”
THR also has been nominated in the category of General Excellence, Special Interest, which “honors magazines serving highly defined reader communities,” for a second consecutive year. THR will vie for the award alongside the Harvard Business Review, entrepreneur-targeted Inc., Mental Floss and Texas Monthly.
