A busy Venice street popular with tourists was the scene of horrific violence Monday night as a woman was stabbed to death.
According to an ABC7 report, the incident occurred near Windward and Pacific Avenues around 9 p.m. with the LAPD arriving on the scene shortly after. Police said the suspects were still at large and the scene was still under investigation.
The area, which is dotted with bars and restaurants, is popular with tourists. Police said the woman, the victim, and two men were seen to be arguing before an altercation led to her being stabbed. The victim was pronounced dead an hour later from unspecified injuries.
