George Lucas married DreamWorks Animation chairman Mellody Hobson on June 22 at Skywalker Ranch in Marin County, Calif. PBS’ Bill Moyers officiated the ceremony, and Ron Howard, Jeffrey Katzenberg and Steven Spielberg attended. The couple became engaged in January.

ENGAGEMENTS

Writer-director Rod Lurie became engaged to novelist Kyra Davis in May at MoMA in New York.
