After many months of keeping their dating lives under wraps, Lupita Nyong’o and her boyfriend and partner Selema “Sal” Masekela very publicly confirmed their relationship. And that’s not the only way they are taking their romance to the next level — turns out the couple has also celebrated the holidays by jointly purchasing a multimillion-dollar Los Angeles home together.
Nyong’o and Masekela doled out north of $4 million for their new house, which was custom-built in 2014. The sprawling estate lies in a remote L.A. neighborhood.

Masekela, a veteran entertainment and business multi-hyphenate, is probably best known as the former host of ESPN’s X Games, NBC’s “Red Bull Signature Series” and the E! channel’s Daily 10 news show. An avid surfer, the 51-year-old first came to attention as the only son of Hugh Masekela — the late South African jazz musician and anti-apartheid activist.
