How to Watch the 74th Tony Awards Online

Broadway is back — and the show will finally go on for the 74th annual Tony Awards, which take place in person Sunday, Sept. 26 at Winter Garden Theatre in New York City after being postponed last year due to the pandemic. Presented by the American Theatre Wing and the Broadway League, and hosted by Audra McDonald and Leslie Odom Jr., the four-hour ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS and Paramount+ starting at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET.

McDonald will open the festivities, which recognize the 2019-2020 Broadway season. Odom Jr. will host live concert portion, The Tony Awards Present: Broadway’s Back, which airs from 6-8 p.m. PT/ET. The evening will include musical performances by David Byrne and the cast of American Utopia, John Legend and the cast of Ain’t Too Proud, a reunion of Hairspray‘s cast and a star-studded finale from the cast of Freestyle Love Supreme that will include Lin-Manuel Miranda, Wayne Brady and many others.
