Ulta Debuts ‘Gilmore Girls’-Inspired Beauty Collection

Here’s one way for Gilmore Girls fans to channel Rory Gilmore’s back-to-Chilton Prep style (sans the rocky first day). Ulta Beauty has debuted a collection of cosmetics, skin care and hair accessories inspired by Rory and Lorelai Gilmore (played by Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham, respectively) and the rest of Stars Hollow.

Priced from $14 to $20, the limited-edition collaboration plays up the early aughts nostalgia with charming packaging emblazoned with quotes from the beloved CW show — think lines like “I love you a thousand yellow daisies” and “I’m the Lorelai to your Rory.” The line includes an eyeshadow palette duo inspired by the cool mother and daughter duo, with shades such as light nude, shimmering brown, tan, golden brown, light pink, metallic taupe, muted pink and deep mauve; as well as a five-piece makeup brush and sponge set; and a set of six gel eyeliners in white, light blue, taupe, brown, black and lilac.

There are also matte and glossy lip crayons in pink and neutral hues; a set of four nail polishes; and a three-piece hair accessories set with headbands and scrunchies in Chilton Prep’s blue plaid colorway. And for self-care enthusiasts, there are face mask duos, a face mist and a coffee-scented body scrub.

Most of the Ulta Beauty x Gilmore Girls cosmetics and hair goods are available to shop online, and the skin care products will arrive in the coming weeks.

The mother-daughter drama created by Amy Sherman-Palladino debuted in 2000 on the former WB Network and ran for seven seasons. The CW last year acquired the rights to Netflix’s Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life mini-series revival, which was aired on the broadcast network during Thanksgiving.
